Songs and Poetry

I love lyrics, songs, creativity of absolutely any kind, the rise and fall of the mind in all its manifestations.

CD: Listen to a song or two from my CD The Sun Shines at Midnight. The band is great – George Small (keyboards), Warren Vaché (cornet), Gerry Niewood (winds), Margaret Dorn (vocals), Lynn Anderson (vocals), Kenny Brescia (guitar), Warren Odze (drums), George Farmer (bass), and Chip Fabrizi (percussion, drums). The engineering and production is absolutely first rate (thanks to Chip Fabrizi at PPI Recording, Inc.).

My main goal is to get artists to sing my songs. If you are a performer yourself, consider covering one. I will send you lead sheets.

BOOK: Listen to a poem from my book The Rise and Fall of the Mind. I read regularly at the Cornelia Street Café, with the Four Horsemen, sponsored by Bob Quatrone, and also read in other venues around town.

OTHER: Collaborations with Eben Keyes. Three songs from the album Keyes to Heaven, sung by Mac Award winners. Two full length musicals – production history and excerpts.
